BLENNZ has a range of services and programmes for ākonga who are blind, deafblind or have low vision aged birth to 21, providing support across the country.

Enrolment and enquiries
Referrals to BLENNZ can come from a number of sources, including parents, teachers, Ophthalmologists, health professionals, Blind Low Vision NZ, and the Ministry of Education.

The Homai Campus School is a specialist school for children and young people who are blind, deaf blind or have low vision.

Regional Services
BLENNZ regional teaching and support services are provided by RTVs and DOMs based in our 14 Visual Resource Centres (VRCs) throughout the country.

Homai Residential Services provides residential placements for ākonga who are blind or have low vision and attend the Homai Campus School or The Manurewa High School.
