This year the Resource Teachers of Vision have been working collaboratively with Parafed Northland and Blind Sport New Zealand to increase both our own and whānau knowledge of accessible sporting opportunities available for our ākonga.

RTVs attended a fabulous sports session at MacKay Stadium with Casey from Blind Sport NZ, Sharon and Anna from Parafed Northland and James from Halberg. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Accessible Sports Equipment available to our ākonga and develop skills to support students to fully participate in sport and active recreation. We are all excited to continue this collegiality and teaming throughout the years.
