DOM team complete the BEL’s training

This year, the DOM team completed the BELS training over at Homai in Auckland. This was such a great opportunity for our DOM team to come together for PD, connect and share ideas about how we work with early learners.

Sharon and I discussed the plan for each of the two-day sessions, and she put together a programme that supported the whole DOM team, from those experienced with early learners to those new to this age level. There were a lot of similarities to both of our services, including putting relationships first and working with whanau to set meaningful and authentic goals for ākonga.
